About Us

DetoxPro is an Addiction Medicine Physician group specialized in  managing in-hospital alcohol and drug detoxification  programs. We have been in practice since 2016, and have helped thousand of patients successfully detox, and stay sober. 

DetoxPro has 4 practice locations in Central Texas. There are 6  health care providers, specializing in Addiction Medicine, with some also specialized in Internal Medicine,  Emergency Medicine, and Psychiatry.

DetoxPro runs Drug and alcohol medication-assisted detox, and rehabilitation services across Texas, in the cities of Austin, New Braunfels, Kyle, and Dallas.

  • Dr. Dadoush graduated from Damascus Medical School in 1989. After working as a research fellow at Harvard Medical School, he completed a Masters in Public Health at Boston University, and then started his postgraduate medical training in 1992 at Yale University.

    In 1999, and after getting his board certification in Internal Medicine and Emergency Medicine, Dr. Dadoush returned to Damascus, his hometown, where he was practicing Emergency Medicine. 

    In 2011, Dr. Dadoush and his family returned to Texas. He was chosen as the medical director of the ED at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX until 2014, when Dr. Dadoush and his family moved to Austin. It was in Austin that he started to get special interest in substance use, and switched to practicing addiction medicine full time in 2016, then got his board in Addiction Medicine in 2021. 

    In his spare time, he enjoys the outdoors of Austin with his wife, and traveling.

  • Dr. Dalby grew up in Austin, Texas and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Neurobiology. She attended medical school at The University of North Texas Health Science Center-TCOM and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr. Dalby has been interested in Addiction medicine and substance abuse for a few years, and has been working mainly in this field for the lasr 2 years.

    In her free time she enjoys spending time outside with her son, playing violin, yoga, swimming, trying new restaurants with friends, watching live music and traveling to new places.

  • Christina Vasquez is a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who is also certified as an addiction nurse practitioner. She has over 20 years of combined experience assisting teens, adults and seniors who are seeking help in coping with depression, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance use disorders, trauma, and stress-related disorders.

    Christina earned her Master's degree in Nursing and graduated Summa cum laude from Walden University. She also obtained her PhD in addictions counseling to better assist those who are dealing with a substance use disorder. Her goal is to help clients understand how to safely and effectively manage their disorder by offering evidence-based medication management, psychoeducation, support, and true empathetic care. Christina has the ability to empathize with patients while building a caring and therapeutic relationship. Christina utilizes a holistic approach and wants to help her patients achieve their best quality of life while reducing the stigma associated with mental health and substance use disorders.

  • Eric Iglesias is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner specializing in child, adolescent, and adult mental health. He earned his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree from The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. His diverse clinical residency included experiences at Clarity Child Guidance Center, The San Antonio State Hospital, Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant, various addiction and rehabilitation centers, and Audie Murphy VA Hospital.

    Before becoming a PMHNP, Eric accumulated over 12 years of experience as a registered nurse, excelling in high-pressure environments such as emergency departments, ICUs, corrections, inpatient psychiatry, and addiction medicine. His broad clinical expertise allows him to provide comprehensive mental health care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

    Eric lives in San Antonio, TX, with his wife, two children, and their beloved dog, Roux Bear. Outside of his professional life, he is an avid baseball coach for children of all ages and levels, enjoys practicing jiu jitsu, running, and indulging in his love for cookies.

Our consultants with extensive experience are on-call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to help the emergency physician or Hospitalist, by promptly admitting and initiating treatment programs for individuals facing addiction challenges, whether their primary diagnosis was addiction related, or drug and alcohol withdrawal symptoms was a secondary issue that arose during their hospital course. 

Our detox programs include: 

  • Stabilization of any acute medical conditions in cooperation with our partner Hospitalist groups.

  • Acute medication-assisted detox 

  • Initiation of treatment for co-morbid psychiatric ailment that complicate their addiction and contribute to relapse, such as Depression, anxiety, Phobia,  Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD) or Bipolar disorder this approach sometimes involve use of Ketamine Assisted therapy (KAT). 

  • Initiation of outpatient Medication assisted therapy (MAT) with Buprenorphine, Naltrexone, Vivitrol, or Sublocade.

  • Referral to subsequent inpatient or outpatient program (IOP), and outpatient follow-up clinics.
